A UA student told police Friday that she has received 15 to 18 harassing phone calls a day by an unidentified woman since Aug. 24. The victim receives phone calls several times a day, according to police reports.

The student told police she has received a total of 30 to 40 calls. The caller, an unidentified female, left messages on the victim's voice mail, threatening her with physical harm, reports stated.

One of the messages on the student's voice mail said, "I'm going to kick your fucking ass bitch." Another voice mail recording said, "I'm going to murder your ass," reports indicated.

The victim told police that the caller was accusing her of stealing her boyfriend.

The third message refuted the claim, stating, "I know you didn't steal my boyfriend, but I'm still going to kick your ass," reports stated.

Other intimidating statements were left on the student's voice mail from that day, according to police reports.

The student told police she had no idea who had targeted her, noting she is in the process of changing her phone number.

The victim was concerned and plans to press charges if the caller is identified, reports stated.

Three women told police they have been receiving har-assing phone calls by an unidentified man since Friday.

The first call was made to an Associated Students office, 1209 E. University Blvd., Friday around 5:00 p.m., police reports stated.

The caller told a female Associated Students of the University of Arizona employee that he had rushed a fraternity because some sorority women implied that his acceptance was secured. He added that when the fraternity rejected him, the sorority women started "doing things to him," reports stated. The caller did not specify how the sorority sisters acted inappropriately.

The caller then made several more harassing phone calls to the same ASUA office and allegedly told a number of female staffers the same story. A women tried to transfer the call, then attempted to connect him with a male ASUA employee, but the caller refused either option.

The suspect also reportedly badgered a woman on desk duty at the Gila Residence Hall, 1009 E. North Campus Dr., at 6:24 p.m. that same day, reports stated.

He told the female student at the desk that he was in a fraternity, but did not specify which one. He then told her that he wanted to distribute 200 tickets to a male nude volleyball session for a female student audience, according to reports.

The student then hung up on the caller, reports stated.

A UA switchboard employee told police the caller had been requesting phone numbers of various sororities and dormitories and had asked to be transferred to the numbers, reports stated.

The employee told police that the calls received by ASUA and Gila Residence Hall came to her switchboard first. She also said she is very familiar with the man's voice, and added that the phone beeps three times when the caller hangs up, reports stated.

Police had no suspects yesterday afternoon.

Two students were referred to the Dean of Students Diversion Program Monday evening after university police found drug paraphernalia in their dorm room at Coronado Residence Hall, 822 E. Fifth St.

A resident assistant at Coronado called university police Monday night after smelling what he suspected to be marijuana, police reports stated.

The resident assistant told the officer that he had been passing by Room 945 when he smelled a pungent burning substance. He then told police he heard voices behind the door saying, "How do you light this thing?" and "Where did you hide the bong?" reports stated.

The RA escorted UA police to the room of Jason Cameron Koch, 18, reports stated.

Upon entering the dorm room, police noted that the window was open and there was a strong odor of air freshener, reports stated.

Koch allegedly told officers no one had been smoking anything and agreed to let police search his room.

Police found three pipes with a residue of some type inside, reports stated. Koch told police the pipes were not his and indicated that his roommate, Osama Qaqi, 18, might be able to identify the owner of the paraphernalia, reports stated.

Qaqi allegedly told police he did not know who owned the pipes and said a lot of people had been in and out of his room earlier that day. Koch then showed police the bong and said he and his roommate had purchased it together, reports stated.

Police also found alcohol in a refrigerator in Koch's and Qaqi's room, which was later destroyed by officers.
