UA takes on Boise State

The No. 18-ranked UA gymnasts head for Boise, Idaho, this weekend to face the Boise State Broncos Sunday at 2 p.m.
Arizona (2-1 overall, 1-1 Pacific 10 Conference) will also face Cal-State Fullerton at the Boise State Pavilion. The Wildcats look to improve on last weekend's disappointing beam effort that caused Arizona to literally "fall" to conference rival Washington.
"Ideally, we would really like to go out and hit on beam," said UA head coach Bill Ryden, who witnessed four girls fall last weekend. "We know we are a great beam team and it was strange seeing that many quality beam performers fall."
Not only does Arizona have some nagging injuries, the team is also battling the flu.
"Right now, I really don't know who is going to be ready to go for Sunday," Ryden said. "Emily (Peterman) has a sinus infection, Kristin (McDermott) had a 100-degree temperature and some others have felt under the weather all week."
