Icecats stay perfect on road
The No. 4-ranked Arizona Icecats (18-3-2) defeated West Chester (Penn.) Friday night 6-2. The Icecats remain undefeated on their marathon road trip, posting a 6-0-1 record since taking off just over a week ago.
The Icecats now head to Boulder, Colo., where they'll take on the Colorado Buffaloes in a rematch of an earlier two-game series in Tucson which UA swept. The final leg of the trip will help determine the Icecats' seeding for the 1999 American Collegiate Hockey Association's national championship tournament, which takes place March 3-6 in Newark, Del.
"This road trip will definitely help determine our seeding for the national tournament," Icecats head coach Leo Golembiewski said. "We've just got to stay the course." - Ryan Finley
