To the editor,

Mr. Jeremy Bachtel's lament over the martyrdom of the mall preachers was quite touching. Aside from their boundless 'virtue,' I feel I must uncover their vitriolic diatribe and highlight the blatant hate they exhibited for an entire afternoon.

My initial intent in communicating with the preachers was to engage in some form of intelligent discourse as well as entertainment. Upon asking several legitimate questions, I was ignored in what was clearly an attempt to evade an inquiry that was contradictory to their respective doctrines. After continuing to watch these preachers condemn the surrounding crowd, namely homosexuals, Jews, Muslims, among other ethnicities and religions, I came to realize that these people were not capable of intelligent discourse.

After transcending the point of maintaining the integrity of intelligent discourse, I became loud and vulgar, and to no surprise whatsoever, they actually responded to such a tactic. To my satisfaction, I was clearly successful in angering, agitating, and disillusioning the preachers, to the point where "Sister Pat" asked people from the crowd to "do something to me."

Rest assured, I thoroughly enjoyed watching such self-righteous individuals continue toperpetually digress in the realm of their own morality that they venerate to such an extent.

The hateful nature of these preachers is concurrent with the same mentality that caused such events as the Holocaust. I clearly recall "Sister Pat" stating that "Jews died in the Holocaust because they were sinners," and that "If it were not for the Christian assimilation of Native Americans to Christianity itself, then they too, would surely burn in hell."

When I confronted our good friend Brother Jed with a question, all he could say was "Get a haircut - are you a homo?"

I did not see any of the preachers pray over any individual from the crowd whom they profess to want to save - only condemn and judge them.
