The Rolling Stones
![]()
No Security (Virgin) If classic rock is on your horizon, No Security should fit the bill. There's nothing particularly challenging about this work, but rarely is that the intention of a live album. The Rolling Stones certainly roll here, and can be caught rocking on few occasions. The tracks on this album, which span the Stones long career, have been collected from several concerts, including concerts in Amsterdam, Nuremberg and Buenos Aires. Makes one warm knowing that almost anywhere one goes on the planet these days, the natives will have the ability to rock out to Mick Jagger's immortal words "You got me rockin' babe." They must be doing something right, but what is it? I don't think that's it's in what they're saying. The music's, well, pretty Rolling Stonsie, what more can I say? I think the Stone's success is in their costumes. The liner notes are filled with pictures of the band members that resemble, get this, Skeksies. Skeksies being, of course, the loathable bird beasts from Jim Henson's "The Dark Crystal." Any concert that has grown men in Skeksis costumes is a concert I attend...
