No school on Monday, so pack up those books and enjoy the heat for the last few days of summer.

Arizona Football attempts to rebound Sunday against the Texas Christian Horned Frogs at 4:30 p.m. at the Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. The Wildcats, now a proud owner of the No. 15 ranking in the Associated Press poll, are looking to rebound after last week's schlacking at now-No. 2 Penn State. The pre-game festivities begin at 4 p.m. on Fox Sports Arizona. UA Volleyball opens up the season this weekend participating in the Embassy Suites Wildcat Classic. Their opponents are expected to put up quite a fight, as each are highly ranked. The Wildcats take on the University of San Diego, Sacramento, Santa Clara and Kent State. It all takes place at the McKale Center today at 2:30 p.m. against Kent State. The tournament will last through Saturday. Students get in free, so round up the crew and take advantage of having no school Monday and cheer on those Wildcats. The women's soccer team takes on foe New Mexico Saturday night at Murphey Stadium. The Wildcats are currently 1-1, with a win coming against Northern Arizona and a loss coming last Tuesday against rival Arizona State. Admittance into Murphey for students is free. It is also free ball cap and Las Vegas night at the Tucson Sidewinders game. The first 1,500 fans through the gate receive a free Tucson Sidewinders baseball hat. And it's Las Vegas night; the best impersonation of a Las Vegas entertainer will receive free round-trip tickets to see the AAA minor league world series being held later this month in Las Vegas.

Think you know your sports rules? Put your knowledge to the test, and become one of the few and the proud - the referees. The Intramural Sports office is looking for you to become a sports official. Earn $5.50 an hour and have some fun while you work. You will be required to attend an officials' meeting about the rules and will be judged on your performance each game. Need a little jazz to spice up the long weekend. The Tucson Jazz Society is hosting a concert Sunday evening from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. at St. Phillips Plaza on East River Road and North Campbell Avenue. The featured entertainer will be Raphael Moreno e Descarga, a local talent expected to blare out the latest in Latin jazz and salsa music. There will also be a dancing competition. Call the Tucson Jazz Society at 743-3399 if you have any questions. Admission to the event is $11.
