Dr. Kendra Gaines of the Writing Skills Improvement Program will present a workshop on "Organizing a Text-in-Context Essay" today at 5 p.m. This workshop will take place in the Modern Languages Building, Room 410. For more information, contact Donna Rabuck at 621-5849.

The School of Music and Dance will host a concert sponsored by the Muller Music Center. AZ JAZZ will feature various instruments from acoustic and electronic drums to the saxophone and flute. This event will take place tonight at 7:30 in the Fine Arts Complex Crowder Hall. Prices for admission are $10 for the general public, $8 for UA employees, $7 for Tucson Jazz Society members, $6 for senior citizens, and $5 for students with a Catcard. Ralph Hammann, Associate Professor of architecture will speak on the richness and originality of Cuban architecture between 1920 and 1970 and the Cuba travel opportunity for students and faculty in May 2000 in CUBA: Architectural Treasures Rediscovered.
