Henry C. Kenski, Ph.D., will speak on "Public Opinion in Election 2000," tonight at 7:30. This talk will examine the formation and role of public opinion in the current nomination and election process. The lecture will take place at the University Medical Center, DuVal Auditorium. Sponsored by the Division for Late Medieval reformation Studies of the UA, John P. Frank will give a talk on "The Trial of Socrates: The Foundation of Democracy." In this lecture, Frank will discuss his conviction that without Plato's vision of justice, the First Amendment to the Constitution of the U.S. would not have been written. This lecture will take place tonight at 7:30 at the College of Law, Charles E. Ares Auditorium, Room 146. For more information, call 621-1284.

The UA Hawaii Club will sell tickets on the UA Mall on Wednesday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. for their sixth annual luau that will take place on March 25. The stars of the movie "Naturally Native" will be on the UA campus today from 7-9 p.m. to show a presentation of the making of the film and speak about HAPN, a program that provides internships and opportunities to Native people who want to break into the film industry.
