After scoring its highest team score (195.675) of the season, the No. 25 Arizona gymnastics' team travels to Tempe tomorrow for its last regular season meet against No.12 Arizona State University.

The Wildcats are seeking their first road win against the Sun Devils tomorrow night at 7:30.

"ASU has a very good program and are very strong at home," head coach Bill Ryden said. "This meet will help us prepare for the upcoming post season and show us what we need to focus on."

Arizona State finished third in the Pacific-10 Conference last season, while Arizona ended up tied for fourth.

The Wildcats (5-9 overall, 1-4 Pac-10) will compete in Wells Fargo Arena two weekends in a row, as the team will return to Tempe Mar. 18 for the Pac-10 Championships.

"I think it will help prepare us for Pac-10s by competing at ASU this weekend," sophomore Randi Liljenquist said. "It will give us a feel for the atmosphere and hopefully make us better adjusted."

Last year when the Wildcats and the Sun Devils (12-4, 3-2) met in McKale Center, Arizona set a school record team total (196.3) on March 26.

Arizona is coming off a close loss to No. 2 Michigan in a meet in which the Wildcats recorded season-high team scores on the beam (49.0) and the vault (48.95).

Liljenquist marked a career-high scoring a perfect 10 on the floor exercise and taking the title. She also earned first place honors on the beam (9.9) and in the all-around (39.9).

The Wildcats will also count on junior Kara Fry and senior All-American Heidi Hornbeek to snap a five-meet losing streak.

"I am confident that this team will end the regular season on a high note," Ryden said. "I am hoping for a complete team performance tomorrow."
