Why I chose the UA: When I was in high school, Arizona came to race at Stanford and I watched Arizona win.
Before each game I always: Warm-up, the same exact way every time
Pregame meal: Four hours before, I eat hot cereal the morning of the race.
Favorite athlete: Terrell Davis
Favorite sports movie: Vision Quest
Favorite UA sports moment: Last cross country season in Montana, UA beat Michigan, Oregon and Washington State.
Opponent you dislike most: Stanford, because the team is so good.
I wanted to grow up to be like: My high school coach. He really got a lot of kids in high school to love to run and compete.
Greatest influence: My dad. He is very humble, down-to-earth, intelligent, hard-working, selfless and a good example
Possession I'd never give up: My car. A 1968 square-back piece of s-t. I bought it, and my dad and I restored it.
After college I want to: Get a good career, always have fun and always run.
Coach's quote: "Micheil has definitely taken up the role as leader in cross country and his leadership moved to a new level. He gained confidence to be the No. 1 man. He's a solid No. 1 runner." - UA head coach Dave Murray
