Sam's Place worthy of support

By David Midkiff
Arizona Daily Wildcat,

To the editor,

This letter is in response to the letter written by Barbara Kausen regarding Sam's Club.

What is wrong with the university providing us with some form of entertainment? Let me tell you something Barbara, not everyone here at the university spends all their time studying. So they need something else to do.

Let's see our options. We could go to the bars, but not everyone is of drinking age. Maybe a frat party, but those are only on weekends. I know, how about a movie? However, Gallagher is no longer an option. Besides it too is a waste of power and a waste of valuable educational space. So a movie is an option if you have transportation and $7.50 for a ticket. Still there are those students who are left nothing to do, but they know that they do not want to study. So what do we have left? I asked the question so I should answer it. Recreational drugs. Nothing better to do than sit in an apartment or house and do drugs.
