MTV is in town this weekend, and they brought Garbage with them. As part of their Campus Invasion Tour, they are having Garbage and Lit perform Saturday night at Centennial Hall. As a precursor to this event, MTV will be out all day in front of the Park Student Union with all sorts of games and contests, so be sure to check this out even if you are not going to the concert. Tickets to the show are still available and can be picked up at Centennial Hall box office or by calling them at 621-3341. The tickets cost $25 for general admission, with a $5 discount if you have your CatCard.

The Graduate and Professional Student Council is hosting another get-together for you to meet fellow grad students and socialize a little. They are meeting at No Anchovies for free pizza, and all graduate students are welcome. Located at 817 E. University Blvd., everyone should show up at 5 p.m. at No Anchovies to get your free goods. The social activity shouldn't last longer than 7:30 p.m.

UA sports is in full gear this weekend beginning with swimming and diving. They take on NAU today at 1 for a little waterborne competition. Come see the likes of Ryk Neethling and Amanda Beard take on our state rivals for bragging rights. All swimming events are free to students and take place at the Hillenbrand Aquatic Center, located at the south end of the UA Mall. The Icecats take on No. 5-ranked Delaware both tonight and Saturday night in a match of club hockey powers. All Icecats games take place at the Tucson Convention Center, located at North Church Avenue and East Broadway Boulevard in downtown Tucson. The puck drops for both games at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $6 for students. For those of you fortunate enough to be in possession of men's basketball tickets, you can catch them take on the New Mexico State Aggies in the second round of the Preseason NIT tonight at 9:30. The game also appears on ESPN2.

Delta Chi and Chi Omega are holding their annual flag football tournament tomorrow to benefit the Ronald McDonald House and the Faid Foundation. Those wishing to sign up should call Laura Jehring today at 621-5314.
