Letter's claims are 'an embarrassment'

To the editor,

Overpopulation a myth? Pollution and global warming a conspiracy? The eco-system is not fragile?

These are all claims made by Michael Green in his recent letter to the editor. what an embarrassment this boy is to his faith, so content to keep his head stuck in the sand. Perhaps he should pick up a newspaper and read the headlines. I'm sure he'd be shocked to realize that he does not live in the ideal world he imagines.

Just because we Americans have the good fortune to be blessed with prosperity is no excuse for acting as if there is no tomorrow. Over population is the greatest threat to our world. Unlike the dinosaurs we have the technology and power to change our destiny.
