Talk about this story

Come see some home grown UA talent on display at Safehouse, a coffee shop located on the corner of East Speedway Boulevard and North Alvernon Boulevard tomorrow at 9 p.m. Here just in time for World AIDS day, this is a benefit concert for Camp Heartland, a camp for people with AIDS. Performing are bands 0-60, Quadratics and the Screaming Demons. All funds collected are going to Camp Heartland, so be entertained for a good cause. Anyone with a question about this performance can call Brook White at 882-0462.

See a little sports this weekend. Icecats hockey takes on the rivals from the north, the Arizona State Ice Devils at the Tucson Convention Center in back-to-back matches. Both today's and tomorrow's games start at 7:30 p.m., with tickets running $5 for students who have a CatCard in their possession. The TCC is located on North Church Street, just south of East Broadway Boulevard in downtown Tucson. Games usually last around two hours, and this series usually sells out so arrive early.

Feeling like a little reggae to make your evening complete? You're in luck, the Big Mountain Reggae Band is in town playing at the Twelve Tribes Reggae shop today. Located at 345 N. Fifth Ave., the concert doors open at 8 p.m. with tickets being sold for $12 if bought in advance. How do you get advanced tickets? Stop by Twelve Tribes or call 620-1810. Big Mountain is known for covering Peter Frampton's "Baby I Love Your Way" on the "Reality Bites" soundtrack five years ago.

Come see how Christmas was celebrated in Arizona long before it became a state. Stop by the Sosa-Carrillo-Fremount House Museum located at 151 N. Granada Ave., just south of West Congress Street between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. for the rest of this month and you will see historical artifacts from the territory era. Want to know exactly what you will see? Call 622-0956 and you will receive your answers.

Alfred Hitchcock pioneered the horror film industry, sending chills down the spines of viewers long before most of us were born. Come see the master at work in the digitally remastered "Vertigo," starring Jimmy Stewart. This is widely considered to be one of Hitchcock's masterpieces, and where else are you going to have the opportunity to see one of his films on the big screen. Show times are 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. and ticket prices are the standard fare for Social Science 100 films, $2.50. If you need to know more call the University Activities Board at 621-0768.
