Women's basketball continues its early season surge and takes part in the Insight.com Bowl Basketball Classic Friday and Sunday. First up for the Wildcats is Texas Southern, with tip off taking place at 8 p.m. The winner of that game will take on the winner of the Indiana vs. Middle Tennessee State game which starts at 6 p.m. on Friday. The championship game takes place on Sunday at 3 p.m., with the two losing teams battling in the consolation game kicking off at 1 p.m. Arizona was just ranked No. 19 in the Associated Press poll, and they are riding a six-game winning streak. Tickets are free to students and run $5 for the general public. Tickets can be picked up over the phone at 621-2287 or by stopping by the McKale ticket office.

Ever entertained thoughts of becoming a teacher? Begin down your career path and attend a Substitute Teacher Fair tomorrow at 4 p.m. and meet school district officials who can help you out. This is a great opportunity to start gaining contacts that can help after graduation, and this fair will teach you all about the application process and how to apply for employment in the teaching field. The fair should last around two hours, so take some time from studying for finals and prepare for life after college. Swing by the UA Memorial Student Union's Senior Ballroom to take part in this experience. Still unclear? Bill Ruggirello at 621-2546 is prepared to clear things up for you.

Today is the day we have all been waiting for, the last day of classes. Tomorrow is dead day, so enjoy the day off.

Taking place this Friday afternoon, visitors will be privileged to learn facts about the society and view the archives that the building houses. Just stop by between the hours of 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. and you can find out all about the rich history of Arizona. AHS will also be holding a bookfair. Have any more questions about the AHS? Give them a call at 628-5774.
