The University of Arizona Campus Arboretum features arid-tolerant trees, shrubs and plants from all over the world. The Campus Arboretum, which extends to every corner of campus, is the oldest maintained green space in Arizona. Each plant must be labeled, documented and mapped. The vegetation provides shade and educational resources to the university community. The campus was inducted into the prestigious American Association of Botanical Gardens and Arboreta last Saturday.
