104.1's Darrin and Wayne celebrated their 1st year on the air as a morning show in Tucson with over 400 other people and Lifehouse yesterday at Frogin Firkins. The group played a set of about seven songs, which included 2001 chart topper "Hanging by a moment". I had a chance to ask the band about their stop in Tucson.

Q: How did you feel playing in front of a small crowd like this?

A: (lead singer Jason Wade) "It's definitely a different vibe. With a crowd like this it is mostly college age students who actually are into the music, instead of a bunch of MTV kids. This is much more relaxed.

(drummer Rick Woolstenhulme) "I think it's rad, there were a bunch of frat guys stumbling in from the frat house."

(guitarist Sean Woolstenhulme) "I like people my own age, so I really liked playing in front of this crowd."

Q: What do you think about Tucson?

A: (base player Sergio Andrade) "It's great, you guys have the best bagel place here(referring to Breuggers), you know the place that's right next to the Sheraton hotel. I got the best bagel it had ham and cheese·Anyway it was great. No but Tucson is really cool, it's great being in front of a crowd like this".

(Rick): "We are from Gilbert so it is cool to play here in Tucson.

(Sean) "I love coming back. Musicians always say how much they love playing in Tucson, the people here are really nice and laid back."

Q: Rick what's it like being in a band with your brother?

A: It's cool we don't really fight a lot, I mean we don't always see eye to eye on things, but it is still cool to play with my brother.
