A crowd of about 150 people packed the patio area of Gentle Ben's on East University Boulevard last night to see Maroon 5 perform in a free concert hosted by radio station 104.1 The Point. The concert ended with a screaming crowd despite lighting and sound difficulties, which caused the band to play in the dark and without their audio system. Even without the effects or a play list the band performed songs including their popular song "Harder to Breathe". Band members include lead singer Adam Levine, guitarist James Valentine, drummer Ryan Dusick, keyboardist Jesse Carmichael, and bass guitarist Mickey Madden.
