Win a New Year's Day bowl one year and watch your season ticket orders skyrocket in the next.
That's what's happening these days at the McKale Center Ticket Office.
A school record of 26,700 public season tickets had been sold as of yesterday morning.
The previous UA record was 23,613 from Arizona's 7-4 season in 1988. Last year's 23,336 season tickets sold now ranks as the school's third best.
Student season tickets have gone so fast that the office has stopped selling them until tomorrow morning so employees can update their records. The sections from goal line to goal line are almost entirely filled. An estimated 4,000 student season tickets remain.
