A UA female student reported to police that an unknown male has harassed her with threatening notes and phone calls over the past two weeks.

Police said the victim received the first message on her car windshield Oct.19. The victim told police the messages said things like "I've been watching you" and "I think you're good looking." The first note was signed "John."

The victim said the male has called repeatedly and requested sex, speaking in a different accent for each phone call. He has also been "making noises." The victim believes the male is masturbating, police said. In one phone call, the male said he was a nudist and asked the victim if she would like to see his "costume."

Police are continuing their investigation.

A man was reported harassing females on the UA Mall Sunday afternoon using various "pick-up lines."

A UA student said a male on a bicycle rode up next to her near the corner of Highland Avenue and Fourth Street and said, "Everyone should have a couple. Do you want to be my couple?"

The student said she noticed the man talking to other females on campus and believed he was using the same "pick-up lines."

Three other students said the man confronted them between the Administration building and the Student Union when one of the females said she was cold and needed a jacket. The man rode up behind them and said, "Will a hug do, or is that too forward?"

The man is described as a black male, about 6 feet, 150 pounds, with "slicked back" wavy hair, wearing a black blazer, a red shirt, black baggy slacks and riding an "old" three-speed bicycle.

Police were unable to locate the man.
