I would like to commend Alpha Phi for their mock funeral on the Mall. It is nice to see programs done to address the problems the campus faces. Too many young college students believe that they are indestructible, but this reminds us of how delicate life is.
Unfortunately, drinking and driving accidents claim the lives of many innocent victims every year. Hopefully, messages like the one made by Alpha Phi will remind us all of the dangers involved with drinking and driving. Something far more morbid than a mock funeral on the Mall is having to deal with the death of a loved one by the hands of someone who got behind the wheel after drinking.
