Editor:
I would like to commend the Wildcat's observance of breast cancer, a subject many are still rather ignorant of (Oct. 28). HOWEVER, the headline used for this article is terribly misleading. By saying that "higher education may contribute to breast cancer risk," the paper suggests that women must not find out the details of the cancer Ä otherwise they might somehow get it themselves! Also, even if the headline were slightly adjusted to cure this ailment, the article itself still has little to do with the issue of breast cancer education, instead focusing on statistics and surveys.
I believe the Wildcat had a good intention when developing this piece, but spend just a little more time on developing proper headlines for the paper.
