Editor:
I am writing to protest against an advertisement inserted in the Oct. 25, 1994 edition of the Arizona Daily Wildcat. The insert said something about studying in spurts and was promoting the use of a particular brand of condom. I found this offensive and in bad taste.
I support the right to free speech; however, I feel there should be a point at which decency and proprieties are considered. As editors of a newspaper that serves a diverse audience I believe good judgment should be paramount.
Just as those who choose to behave or speak in an indiscriminate manner have that right, so do those who are offended by such have the right to object. I choose to object by not supporting the Arizona Daily Wildcat.
