A female student was assaulted and followed by a man who told her he "just wanted to smell her hair."

The victim told police the man grabbed her by the hair about 8:45 p.m. Wednesday and pulled her into the trash area behind Arizona-Sonora Residence Hall. Then the man reportedly held her and told her he wanted to smell her hair. The victim hit him with her right elbow and fled into the residence hall.

The man had followed her Tuesday morning from the bookstore, then to the exercise bike area at the Student Recreation Center and later that evening to her residence hall. Police have no suspects.

An unknown male caller threatened to kill four female residents of Coronado Residence Hall Wednesday after calling two of the women by name.

The victims told police the man called one of the rooms about 11:20 p.m. and implied that they had sex and was offended she did not remember. The woman hung up.

The man called the second room and told the second victim he had sex with her. The victim hung up after telling the man he had the wrong number.

The third time the man called the first room, he identified the two other victims and said he was going to kill all the residents in the two rooms. The third call was taped by the women who gave the recording to the police. Police have no suspects.

A male student reported Wednesday that someone watched him use a Main Library restroom from an adjacent stall.

The student was in the mens' third floor restroom when he saw eyes peering through a hole in the partition. The student could not identify the man.

An 18-year-old man was arrested after police saw he and some fraternity members throw beer cans at passing cars from the fraternity house's front porch.

Police are seeking charges of minor in possession against Anthony M. Bonafede, of the 1000 block of North Park Avenue.

A 17-year-old was arrested early Monday for underage drinking after police saw him urinate in the street north of the Coronado residence hall.

Police are seeking charges of minor in possession against Christopher R. Livingston, of Beverly Hills, Calif. Livingston told police he had three or four beers that evening.

A 20-year-old female was arrested late Friday for underage drinking at a party.

Police are seeking charges of minor in possession against Rachel A. Plunkett, of the 900 block of North Euclid Avenue.

Plunkett was apprehended by a police officer working at a party who thought she looked too young to be drinking. Plunkett told police she got the beer she was drinking by jumping the fraternity's fence.

An 18-year-old man was arrested late Friday when police saw him drinking in public at a party.

Police are seeking charges of minor in possession against Justin D. Roth, of the 1800 block of East South Campus Drive.
