Student Orientation

The Native American Resource Center is hosting a Native American student orientation today from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Student Union's Rincon Room.

Free Internet seminar

A free seminar called "House and Apartment Listings on the Internet" will be presented today by Golda Bernstein, president of the Internet Workshop, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at ITT Tech, 1840 E. Benson Highway.

The seminar includes a demonstration on how to place an electronic listing, an overview of advertising on the World Wide Web, in newsgroups and through e-mail, and the placement of two listings on the Internet.

String players wanted

String players are wanted to play duets, trios and quartets.

The Tucson Adult Amateur String Players Association is having its first meeting Sept. 10 at 1:30 p.m. All levels are welcome, and there will be no auditions.

Fashion show

Foley's and Carole Little invite customers to attend a fashion workshop featuring the Carole Little Fall 1995 collection at Foley's El Con on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Better Sportswear department.

The workshop, hosted by a Carole Little specialist, is $10 per person and includes a boxed dinner and a $10 coupon.

Violence in the

workplace seminar

A seminar on violence in the workplace will be held today at the Doubletree Hotel, 445 S. Alvernon.

The seminar will include breakfast from 7 to 8 a.m. and will last from 8 until noon. The cost will be $60 at the door. Breakfast is included in the regestration fee.
