Comedy Corner features dinner show sketches on the second level of the Park Student Center at 5:30 p.m.

The Poetry Center presents candidates for masters of fine arts reading their own work in the Modern Languages Auditorium Poetry Center at 8 p.m.

The Department of Journalism presents two lectures by Ricardo Pimentel, managing editor of the Tucson Citizen, and Bobbie Jo Buel, managing editor of The Arizona Daily Star at noon and 12:30 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Franklin Building at 4th Street and Park Avenue.

The Department of Journalism presents "Los Dos Visiones," a slide show and interactive photojournalism presentation and discussion by two photojournalists and UA journalism graduates, A.E. Araiza and Jose Galvez, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Center for Creative Photography.
