Jose Betrand of the UA Museum of Art demonstrates an interactive computer project aimed at helping museum visitors appreciate the museum's 15th century Spanish Altarpiece, "The Reablo of the Cathedral of Ciudad Rodrigo." It is in the museum's second floor galleries at 12:15 p.m.

The UA Finance Department hosts a seminar titled "Venture Capital Distributions: short run and long run reactions" in McClelland Hall Room 315S at 10 a.m.

Mexican American Studies hosts a brown bag lunch on "A Causal Modeling Analysis of Minority Program Effects" in The Douglass Building third floor conference room at noon.

The College of Humanities hosts Sandra Florenu speaking on "Finding a Place in America: A Collaborative Conversation" as part of a brown bag colloquium series in Student Union Room 285 at 12:30 p.m.

The School of Music hosts two performances. A clarinet recital featuring music by Mozart, Finzi, Bernstein and Schumann is in the Fine Art Complex Holsclaw Recital Hall at 7 p.m. Studio Jazz Ensemble "A" performs in the Fine Arts Complex Crowder Hall at 8 p.m.

Consultant Wendy Weiss discusses "In Search of Balance: Managing Time and Energy" at a business and professional women brown bag from noon to 1 p.m. The cost will be $2 at University Medical Center Dining Room F.
