Dear Unlit Cyclist ("Officer wasting time stopping unlit cyclist," Oct. 16),
There is one thing you forgot to thank officer Kent for. You should thank him for caring enough about people that he does not want to see them scraped off the pavement after being hit by a driver who could not see them.
Or perhaps it is just selfishness on his part. Maybe he does not want to waste his time filling out all of the paperwork that goes along with fatal accidents. Maybe he is tired of having to tell parents that their child is road-hash.
Keep up the good work, officer Kent.
