For the next four days, Libbey Park in Ojai will become the hub of collegiate tennis in the West.
The Arizona men's and women's tennis teams will be there for the Pacific 10 Conference championships, and both are currently sitting pretty - the women are ranked 20th in the nation, the men are 26th.
Seven of the men's teams and seven of the women's teams participating in the tournament are ranked in the top 50.
The men's team finished its dual match season with a record of 9-9 overall and 3-7 in the conference, having defeated No. 27 Arizona State last week in Tempe.
The women's team finished the season by beating New Mexico 8-1 last Thursday and Baylor on Saturday by a 6-0 count.
The Pac-10 has 17 men and 21 women individually ranked among the top 95 in the country, based on the April 6 Intercollegiate Tennis Association poll. Eight men's doubles teams and 11 women's doubles teams are among the top 40 doubles teams.
