The Cup Cafe is a great place. It's stylish. It's intimate. The Cup is also a place to see and be seen. It is a good thing that when exiting the dance floor or a concert at Club Congress you don't even have to leave the hotel to buy someone a cup of coffee. Does anyone still use that pick-up line, or was that only in the movies?

The coffee isn't memorable and the service isn't great, but it must be acceptable because most weekends the place is packed. People really go to The Cup because it is a swank joint, to hang out and soak up the coolness of the "scene." _ K.C. Conner Read Next Article
