At first I couldn't decide whether to feel angry or just sad that for the last three days the Wildcat has ignored the largest social change since 1917. I’m actually insulted that the editors don’t think enough of us to provide some real news, instead of headlining “Greeks get funding from ASUA.” Who gives a damn? According to the editors, the student population is only interested in beer drinking and fraternities and sororities. I guess we’re just too apathetic to care that the world’s greatest example of democratic societal change is taking place in South Africa. In the end, if I had to show this lame newspaper to anyone from any other nation, or worse, to my parents, I would not be angry or sad. I would be extremely embarrassed.
