ù Internet: also known as the information super highway. The Internet is simply a collection of computers worldwide that are connected in one way or another. In short, it's just a very large network.
ù Home page: a navigational tool used in graphical user interfaces (GUIs), such as Mosaic and Netscape.
ù World Wide Web: hypertext version of Internet space. World Wide Web is a program that allows a person to access information on the Internet as if it were part of a seamless web (network).
ù Online: something that is immediately available as opposed to information that must be looked up or received back, as in electronic mail. It is information that is right there.
ù Netscape and Mosaic: graphical user interfaces that are used for viewing and connecting to items on the Internet.
ù Browser: a program that gives access to browsing capabilities using various Internet tools.
ù UA Info: the University of Arizona's online information system.
