Arizona vs. UCLA Ä the most important game of the season. The winner of this game will win the honor of going to the Western Collegiate Lacrosse League playoffs.
The game will take place tomorrow night on the Tucson High football field at 7.
Mickey-Miles Felton has never lost a game to UCLA as head coach of the UA men's club lacrosse team.
Unfortunately for the Laxcats (6-6), they will have to play without their starting goalie Bill Steelman for the second game in a row. Steelman was declared ineligible by the league last week.
Tommy Hatfield will be playing the goalie position. In the game against Chapman last week, Hatfield had 23 saves.
The key for Arizona is simple: to maintain control of the ball on offense throughout the game. Protecting the ball will also be essential.
Felton is hoping that his players do not look past UCLA.
"We need to have the proper focus and intensity," Felton said. "The outcome is totally up to the players."
