Police responded to a call from a manager of Louie's Lower Level, in the Student Union, Wednesday, in reference to a woman refusing to pay 32 cents for the extra gravy she received on her food.
The manager told police the woman, of a general delivery address, purchased food and then returned after a few minutes for more gravy. Then she walked by the cash register without paying.
When she was told she would have to pay 32 cents for the extra gravy she refused and said she should have been told before they gave her the gravy.
When police arrived, the woman had finished her meal and they escorted her from the building.

Police are investigating a former student who is reportedly impersonating a UA professor and passing out his business cards to people on campus.
A manager of Fast Copy called police Wednesday afternoon when a man he did not recognize gave an employee the professor's business card and asked her to call him.
The professor told police he believes the man is a former student of his from three years ago who recently returned and asked him for a job in his laboratory. The professor said the man seemed "emotionally unbalanced" and believes he may have stolen his business cards off his desk.

A student reported his bicycle stolen between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 4 p.m. Wednesday from an unsecured room in Herring Hall.
He told police he left his $100 Murray 10-speed bicycle unlocked in the room and when he returned the bicycle was missing.

Someone stole a $500 bicycle from racks near the Harshberger building Wednesday.
The student said he locked his Marin 21-speed mountain bicycle with a cable lock to a parking post at 7:30 a.m. When he returned at 5 p.m., the bicycle and lock were missing.
Police have no suspects.
