Three UA baseball players thought to be on suspension for the remainder of the season were reinstated yesterday by head coach Jerry Kindall.
Freshman shortstop Jake Thrower, junior catcher Jeff McCannon, and freshman designated hitter Cory Robbins were suspended shortly before the three-game series with Southern Cal March 24 for violating team policy.
"They have completed their requirements to the coaches' satisfaction. So for that reason we reinstated them," Kindall said. "They were never suspended from the baseball family, just from competition."
They are now available to make the traveling squad for the Pacific 10 Conference Southern Division series against Cal this weekend.
