With the regular season nearing an end, the UA men's club lacrosse team needs as many wins as it can in order to remain in good standing for the playoffs.
The Laxcats helped their playoff hopes Tuesday night with a 14-6 victory over Arizona State.
Even though Arizona (6-5) was able to pull out the victory, Coach Mickey-Miles Felton was not at all pleased with the way his team performed.
Felton was concerned about dropped passes and what he considered a lack of hustle.
"We didn't do anything that we wanted," Felton said. "I cannot motivate this team and it is very frustrating from a coaching standpoint."
Arizona never trailed the Sun Devils, and the score was only tied once.
