I read Mr. Bayo Ijagbemi's letter ("Article was discriminatory") that appeared in yesterday's newspaper. In my opinion, I think he needs to get a life. There are more important things to worry about in this world than politically incorrect wording. I do not think Ms. Fredette meant any disrespect by using the word "tribe." I have read world history. He needs to get off his high horse because his attitude does nothing to help the problem of bringing the community and world together to work for peace.
It has been said if you are not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem. In my opinion, you need a reality check because there are more important things to deal with than with wording that was not politically correct. Mr. Ijagbemi should be more concerned with the problems of Northern Africa than the fact that an American journalism student uses a word that was not politically correct.
