Even though San Diego State doesn't seem to pose a problem for the UA men's club lacrosse team, that doesn't necessarily guarantee a Laxcat win.
Taking on one of last year's Western Collegiate Lacrosse League Final Four teams, the key for the Laxcats is to stay focused and play the game as it was meant to be played.
The two meet at 7 p.m. tomorrow at the Tucson High School football field.
This season, Arizona has had its ups and downs. Just when the team thought it was getting its game together earlier this month, the Laxcats lost to Stonybrook 23-4 over spring break.
Throughout the season, the team has been battling between two different team personalities.
UA coach Mickey-Miles Felton said the outcome of the game will rely heavily on which team shows up.
"If the game is a tough one, then that is because of our performance," he said.
Felton is hoping this game will be easy because a win should have a positive effect on his team. But he said it is possible that the Laxcats will falter.
"This team needs to find the desire," Felton said, "because we have the talent."
