Tuesday, June 5
Yahya A. Al-Raisi, 24, of East Seneca Street, was arrested at East University Boulevard and North Campbell Avenue on charges of driving on a suspended license, and cited for failure to obtain a current Arizona registration and proof of insurance. Al-Raisi was cited at 8:30 p.m. and released.
Wednesday, June 6
Michael L. Harvey, 28, of East Bermuda Avenue, was arrested at North Ring Road and East Adams Street on charges of driving on a suspended license and cited for failing to obey a stop sign. He was cited at 6:05 p.m. and released.
Thursday, June 7
Anthony J. Galvan, 18, of East Fourth Street, was charged with two counts of theft after an officer observed him breaking the lock off a bicycle in the parking lot at 822 E. Fifth St. He was arrested at 6:32 p.m., taken to the UA Police Department and released.
Friday, June 8
Fred E. Curtis, 54, address unavailable, was arrested on charges of third-degree criminal trespassing after he was reportedly yelling at kids, telling them to go home. A routine check showed he had been previously warned about trespassing and had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court. He was arrested at 11:35 p.m. and transported to the Pima County Jail.
Victoria L. Kotula, 27, of East River Road, was arrested at East Sixth Street and North Santa Rita Avenue on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol. She agreed to take a field sobriety test and reportedly told the officer her left pupil was dilated and her right pupil had been constricted since birth. She was transported to UAPD for a breath test, arrested at 2:36 a.m. and released.
Saturday, July 9
Tonya C. Caruth, 20, of South Camino Seco Way, was arrested at East Sixth Street and North Park Avenue and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after she was pulled over for squealing her tires and turning left where only right turns are permitted. She was arrested at 2:32 p.m., transported to UAPD and released.
Thomas A. Parrino Jr., 29, address unavailable, was arrested and charged with the theft of 12 compact discs from Zip's Records and Tapes, 2178 W. Grant Road, and Donavon E. Luer, 26, of East Flores Drive, was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license. The two were pulled over in their vehicle at East Sixth Street and North Cherry Boulevard after police reportedly observed the registration expired, the front windshield smashed, a back seat window broken and the rear door lock missing. The two were cited at 2:54 p.m. and transported to UAPD. Luer was released and Parrino was transported to Pre-Trial Services.
Sunday, July 100
Harry M. Forehand III, 24, of North Park Avenue, was arrested on charges of possession of fireworks and disturbing the peace after residents reported noise from the Kappa Sigma fraternity house, 316 N. Park Ave. Forehand admitted to setting off the fireworks and handed them over to police. He was cited at 11:02 p.m. and released.
