Tuesday, June 288
Lance J. Hanson, 22, of South Jasmine Way, and a juvenile were arrested at East First Street and North Cherry Avenue and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Hanson was also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. They were cited at 9:24 p.m. and released.
Gregory A. Pintor, 38, of North Oracle Road, was arrested at 11:41 p.m. on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was stopped at East University Boulevard and North Campbell Avenue after his white Cadillac was observed traveling at a high speed, weaving and drifting from lane to lane. He was transported to the UA Police Department for a breath test, arrested, and booked in Pima County Jail.
Friday, July 1
Anthony T. French, 21, of West Sandarac Street, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use and operating a vehicle with suspended registration. He was cited and released at 9:13 p.m.
Saturday, June 2
Jack C. Cappelli, 24, of West Roger Road, was arrested at North Sioux Avenue and West La Pasadita Circle on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was also charged with displaying expired license plates, driving on a canceled driver's license and failing to show proof of insurance. He was cited at 10:56 p.m. and released.
Sunday, June 3
Charles D. Waskom, 39, of East Seventh Street, was arrested at 12:20 a.m. on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was stopped at West Roger Road and North Oracle Road after police said he pulled in front of another vehicle to make a left turn at the intersection and the other vehicle swerved to avoid a collision. Waskom then reportedly stopped in the middle of the intersection. He performed field sobriety and breath tests, was cited at 12:20 a.m., and called a cab to take him home.
Monday, July 4
Heather D. Sewell, 22, of East 10th Street, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, failure to obey a traffic sign and failure to show proof of insurance. She was stopped at East Sixth Street and North Park Avenue after completing a left turn in an area where only right turns are permitted. In her glove compartment police found a smoking pipe and a bag containing a marijuana-like substance. She told police her friends had the vehicle previously and she had no knowledge of the contents. She was cited at 4:12 p.m. and released.
