Tuesday, May 311
Brian N. Robertson, 21, of West Henry Street, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was cited at the UA Police Department and released.
Charles S. Turner, age unavailable, of East Fifth Street, was arrested on charges of displaying fictitious license plates on a 1984 Plymouth Horizon that was registered to Thanh S. Mign and owned by Dung J. Nguyen of North Geronimo Avenue. He was cited and released.
Robert Segovia, 40, of East Lee Street, was arrested after it was discovered that he had a warrant out for his arrest. Officers went to Segovia's residence to verify a story his friend had told them about Segovia helping out with a spare tire. After a routine check, officers discovered an outstanding warrant for Segovia's arrest and placed him under arrest at 2:55 p.m.. He was booked at the Pima County Jail.
Wednesday, June 1
Randall L. Barry, 35, of East Pima Street, was arrested on charges of domestic violence and assault. His fiancee, Heike Steinberg, reported at 4:10 p.m. that the two were fighting on the lawn of the UA Library when he grabbed her backpack, squeezed her by the shoulders, shook her and knocked her down. He was transferred to the Pima County Jail, where he was booked and released.
Thursday, June 2
Sean P. Buckley, 24, of East Sixth Street, received criminal and civil traffic citations for driving with a suspended license and having no windshield in place on his brown Jeep while traveling westbound on Sixth Street near Euclid Avenue. He was arrested, cited and later released.
Friday, June 3
A juvenile non-UA student was arrested on East Sixth Street at North Santa Rita Avenue on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of narcotics paraphernalia. The juvenile was transported to the UA Police Department and later released to a parent.
Saturday, June 4
Two juveniles were arrested on East University Boulevard on charges of possession of marijuana and theft of a bicycle tire. The two were arrested and transferred to the UA Police Department, where they were released to one juvenile's mother.
Scott A. Betts, 35, address unavailable, was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal trespassing after he was seen exiting the Ina E. Gittings Building, 1014 N. Martin Ave., at approximately 9:23 a.m. Apparently, Betts had been sleeping behind the building. He was transferred to the UA Police Department, where he was cited and released.
Matthew G. Fletcher, 35, of East Sixth Street, and Tondra A. Albert, 33, also of East Sixth Street, were arrested and charged with theft after they were seen carrying bicycle tires down East Sixth Street. The two were cited at UAPD and released.
Sunday, June 5
Ramon Flores-Hernandez, 18, of Mexico, was arrested for being in the United States illegally. He was transported to UAPD, where Border Patrol officers took him into custody.
Juan B. Silva, 43, of West Berridgela Street in Glendale, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Silva was transferred to Kino Hospital for a blood test and then to Pima County Jail, where he was booked.
