The Arizona men's golf team continues its monthlong vacation in Hawaii this week by competing in the John Burns Intercollegiate today through Friday on the Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course (par 72, 6,552 yards) in Kaneohe, Hawaii.

The field for the 54-hole tournament includes fellow Pacific 10 Conference teams UCLA and Stanford.

During the last two weeks the Wildcats have finished fifth and third in tournaments on the islands.

In the Mauna Kea Invitational Feb. 13-15 the Wildcats finished fifth after struggling the first two rounds. At the Big Island Invitational last weekend Arizona rebounded with a third-place finish and placed senior Ted Purdy, winner of the PING Arizona Intercollegiate, in the individual top 10.

Five Arizona golfers will be competing in the tournament. They are seniors Purdy and Matt Bergstrom, freshman Andy Barnes, sophomore Rory Sabbatini and junior Gary Matthews. The top four scores will count toward the team total.
