Arizona placed three gymnasts on the Pacific 10 Conference All-Conference team, it was announced Monday.

Freshman Heidi Hornbeek led the way for the Wildcats, being named for the all-around as well as the bars and floor. Junior Becky Bowers was honored for the bars and sophomore Nancy Milberger was named for the beam.

Hornbeek, who captured the all-around title at the Pac-10 Championships last month, was not named conference Gymnast of the Year. That honor went to senior Katie Freeland of Arizona State.

UA head coach Jim Gault was named Coach of the Year along with John Spini of ASU and Jim Turpin of Oregon State.

The Wildcats finished the regular ranked eightht in the nation and with a record of (25-4). They concluded the regular season two weeks ago with a win over ASU and will compete in the NCAA Regionals this weekend.
