A 72-year-old man was arrested late Monday for driving drunk near the intersection of North Park Avenue and East Speedway Boulevard.

Police are seeking charges of driving under the influence against Russell E. Larsen, of the 9900 block of North Outlaw Trail.

Larsen was stopped and given field sobriety and breath analysis tests when police saw his car pause in the left lane of Speedway for about 10 seconds when the the light turned green. His 1994 white Camaro then proceded 10 miles under the speed limit and swerved within the lane, police said. Larsen admitted to having a few beers before driving.

Larsen was cited and released.

A cream 1983 Buick Regal was stolen between Sunday and Monday from a university parking lot at Fifth Street and Tyndall Avenue.

The owner told police he parked his two-door car, which has a University of Arizona vanity plate on the front bumper, at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Zone Two lot. When he returned at 4:45 p.m. Monday, the $6,000 car was missing.

A parking permit was taken Thursday from a locked car parked in a parking lot at North Martin Avenue and East Mabel.

Police found no signs of forced entry to the car, which the owner left locked at 4:45 p.m. with the windows cracked about two inches. When the owner returned at 6:20 p.m., someone had taken the permit from her rear view mirror but left the windows and locked doors intact.

A resident of Graham-Greenlee Residence Hall received three harassing phone calls from three different male voices between 11:30 p.m. and midnight Monday.

The victim told police she hung up when the first unidentified caller asked for her by name. The second caller reportedly said "I can see you. I am watching you. Your blue shirt turns me on." The victim hung up on the third call before he could harass her.

A brown leather wallet, $67 cash, four keys and identification and credit cards were stolen Monday from a weight bench in the Student Recreation Center.

The owner told police he left his wallet on the bench while he worked out, but momentarily forgot it when he left the building at 9:05 p.m. By the time he realized he had left it on the bench, it was gone.

Someone may have pickpocketed a wallet and its contents Friday from the front pants pocket of a male student without him noticing.

The black Christian Dior wallet, $240 cash, a bus pass and two identification cards are valued at $325 total. The student told police he put the wallet in his pocket about 11 a.m. while shopping for books, but never pulled it out to use it.

Someone stole a bicycle worth $400 Monday from a rack under the football stadium.

The owner told police he locked his bike on the east side of the stadium about 3 p.m. but found only the U-lock attached to the rack at 8 p.m. when he returned.
