I was interested to read the plea in favor of Proposition 300 by self-proclaimed "anti-environmentalist" Winston Woods III ("Prop 300 column was misguided" Oct. 26). Ahh, please Winston, refresh my memory Ä what again is an anti-environmentalist? One who opposes a clean environment . or simply one who supports general environmental degradation whenever possible? Is this a new ASUA club on campus? I'm sure it's good that heavy smog, acid mine drainage and TCE plumes have their proponents, and we do appreciate your making your affiliations clear. You are the perfect spokesman for why Prop. 300 should fail.
