Police are seeking a man who assaulted another man with a billiard ball Thursday at Sam's Place in the Student Union.

The victim told police he was playing pool with a friend when the man at the next table began advising them how to play. When the men told him they would continue to play their way, the suspect began bouncing balls off his table toward the victims.

One victim was hit in the leg by a ball, suffering minor injuries.

When the suspect attempted to fight the victims, they walked to the counter to report the man. The suspect began intimidating an employee, prompting the manager to copy down the suspect's identification information before he left.

Three female students who told a woman's parents she was doing drugs, reported being harassed and threatened by the woman and her boyfriend.

The students told police they received several threatening telephone calls from the suspects between Oct. 3 and Oct. 10. The suspects told the victims they would get even with them for reporting the female suspect's drug use.

The suspects also drove by the victims on Oct. 11 and shouted derogatory comments as they walked along North Tyndall Avenue.

On Thursday, the victims saw the suspects standing in the hallway outside the students' classroom in Bio Sciences East. The victims later saw both suspects sit in the back of their classroom, glaring at them.

When class was over, a student approached the victims to tell them the suspects were waiting outside for them. One victim was calling the police when the male suspect entered the room and quickly exited when he saw her on the telephone.

The two suspects were previously in a Oct. 4 police report when the female suspect's father attacked her boyfriend with a softball bat.
