A man was arrested after he reportedly solicited oral sex from a herd of horses.

Police are seeking charges of criminal trespassing against Charles D. Rogge, 41, of the 100 block of North Bella Vista Drive.

A male witness told police Monday he saw Rogge coaxing horses toward him in the pastures at the Campus Agricultural Center, 4101 N. Campbell Ave. The witness said he thought Rogge appeared to be exposing his penis to the horses when he placed the food near his crotch area.

An unknown female witness initially reported the incident to the center's director.

Rogge received a warning from police in June for the same type of conduct.

Police are seeking charges of possession of marijuana and false reporting to law enforcement against Robby Z. Aranki of Scottsdale.

Police stopped Aranki and two other suspects at East Second Street and North Cherry Avenue after a security officer saw them smoking near the Anthropology Building.

Aranki twice told police he had not been smoking marijuana. Police noticed he had bloodshot eyes and a dry mouth, characteristics associated with marijuana use.

Several pieces of burnt marijuana were found on the driver's side floor board. Police also found a set of numchucks under the seat of the car when Aranki conceded to a search of the vehicle.

Three university employees received letters with news clippings pasted on during the last two weeks.

Articles about cocaine, a dead body, Eddie Basha and a movie advertisement for "Clear and Present Danger" were pasted to Xerox paper and sent to the victims' home addresses. The letters contained no threats but certain words in the clippings were highlighted, one victim said.

The incidents were reported to the postmaster.
