A student was threatened at his residence on Aug. 21 by an unknown man who followed the student home and said he would return with a gun.
The victim told police a man driving a green van north on North Cherry Avenue stopped ahead of him, exited and started yelling and waving his arms wildly. When the victim then drove around the man, he followed behind and attempted to ram the student's car.
Later, the man appeared at the student's residence and told the student he recognized the car and would return with a gun.
Police have no suspects.

A car valued at $6,000 was stolen Tuesday from a parking lot south of Coronado Residence Hall.
The owner told police he left his locked car about 9:20 a.m. and it was gone when he returned at about 6:20 p.m.
Police found no glass or other evidence at the scene.

A $4,000 university-owned laptop computer was stolen Monday afternoon from a professor's car parked in a lot east of the UMC parking garage.
The professor told police he left the computer in the back seat of his rental car at about 3:30 p.m.
The victim told police he thought he locked the car, but it was open when he returned about 5 p.m.

Police arrested a 19-year-old intoxicated male for driving his car backwards from his girlfriend's sorority house to a nearby fraternity house early Sunday.
Police are seeking charges of driving under the influence, driving left of center and minor operating a vehicle with liquor in the body against Max H. Golman of the 1000 block of North Tyndall Avenue.
Police reportedly saw Golman's car drive backwards along East First Street and turn north on North Cherry Avenue, finally parking at a fraternity house.
Golman told police he had been drinking two hours before the incident.

A 22-year-old intoxicated man was arrested after almost hitting a police car late Tuesday.
Police are seeking charges of driving under the influence, driving under the influence over the legal blood alcohol content, expired registration and no proof of insurance against Michael A. Schulz of the 4900 block of East 28th Street.
Schulz reportedly made a wide left turn from East University Boulevard onto North Park Avenue and tried to overcorrect the car's path. He then reportedly veered into the police officer's lane toward the police car before swerving and slowing the car.
Schulz told police he drank two beers that evening. Police found three unopened beer cans under the driver's seat.
