Bus pass program

University of Arizona students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in Sun Tran and the UA's bus pass program.

Subsidized by the UA, three U-Pass options are on sale now at less than half the cost of regular bus fare. Because the university's subsidy fund is limited, passes will be sold only as long as funds are available.

The $40 Fall Semester U-Pass is valid now through December 31. The $65 Academic U-Pass is valid now through May 12, 1996, and the $105 Annual U-Pass is valid now through August 11, 1996. The passes will be sold throughout the year at prorated amounts. Also available are University Express Stickers, which allow U-Pass holders to ride any 100-series express route without paying the 25-cent surcharge. University Express stickers are $30 for the Fall Semester U-Pass, $60 for the Academic U-Pass and $80 for the Annual U-Pass.

U-Passes are available now through September 1 at the McKale Center.

For more information, call 621-1800 or 792-9222.

Volunteers can contact Donna Lee at 621-3268 or Cheryl Shott at 621-9170.
