An unknown male unlawfully transmitted on two UA Police Department radio frequencies Friday.

At 6:36 p.m., the man called himself "Batman" and transmitted profanities on the air. After a dispatcher transmitted an FCC admonition over the air, the unauthorized transmissions stopped.

Police responded to 1303 E. University Blvd. Saturday to investigate a report of two rollerbladers joyriding in a golf cart.

At 8:15 p.m., an employee from the Student Services Department said one of the golf carts the department was renting was taken by two juvenile males and returned minutes before police arrived.

The cart was not damaged. A black stocking cap was found on the seat of the cart and was taken into property by police.

A 10-foot by 10-foot "E-Z up" white tent was taken from the McKale Lawn on the north side of Hillenbrand Pool Saturday.

The tent was left unattended. The owner said he believes another party supplier may have picked up the tent by mistake.

Both the owner and the police contacted several party rental stores, but all the suppliers said they did not see the tent nor did they take it.

A blue Cannondale racing bike was reported stolen from 1040 N. Olive Ave. Thursday.

A student said he used a U-lock to secure the bike to a rack at 7:50 a.m. When he returned at 8:50 a.m. the same day, the bike and lock were gone.

The items are valued at $930.

A dark blue Maurshi RX-6 12-speed mountain bike was taken from the west side of Modern Languages, 1423 E. University Blvd., Thursday.

A student said he secured the bike to a post with a U-lock at 8 a.m. When he returned at 11 a.m., the bike was gone, but the front tire was still U-locked to the post.

The bike is valued at $800.
